Our impact
Our impact

We fund local charities and community groups who work at the grassroots level, addressing issues such as child poverty, unemployment, social isolation and homelessness.

Our impact in the community 2016/17

In the financial year 2016/2017 we awarded over £979,000 to local causes, including 23 new groups.  This total exceeded our target and was the highest total in any year of our history.  Yet we remain determined to increase grant making year on year because we know that the need in Berkshire is increasing, not diminishing.

Particularly, of course, the recipients, who not only receive a grant but also sound advice on all aspects of developing the work of their organisation."
    Jane Wates OBE
