Apply for a grant

Berkshire Community Foundation manages funds on behalf of a range of different donors and funding bodies. We have a variety of grants available to voluntary organisations or groups established for charitable purposes ranging from £50 to £5,000. In 2010/11 the Foundation awarded £694,756 to local groups and individual children.

Berkshire Community Foundation also works in partnership with a UK wide website called Localgiving.com to encourage local charities and voluntary groups to raise the awareness, support and online donations they need to survive and grow.

Mars in the Commuity - Grants between £500 and £2,000 available for groups and schools in a 10 mile radius of Slough running projects which promote Healthy Active Lifestyles, Environment or Pet Welfare. Applications should be made via the website www.marsinthecommunity.co.uk. Please contact Rachel Hughes if you would like advice as to whether your project meets the criteria.

If you wish to put your group forward for funding, please complete an Expression of Interest form as soon as possible, stating which criteria your project comes under.
