Berkshire Community Foundation (BCF) are delighted to announce partnership with ComXO in Datchet to launch a new Charitable Fund to celebrate the company’s 30th year.
To celebrate the launch of their new fund, ComXO held an event at their office in Datchet which saw guests including BCF’s Chair of Trustees, Chris Dodson OBE DL, and the Lord Lieutenant for Berkshire, James Puxley, who is also President of BCF. Local charities who may benefit from funding were invited along to speak to ComXO employees and business partners to find out more about their work as well as the wider community from Datchet.
“With the success of the business, we have been able to support many local groups and organisations, who also live and work around us. We have had long partnerships with The Windsor Festival and the Royal Windsor Rose and Horticultural Society and more recently our support of Young Actors of Windsor Theatre.”
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with ComXO to support the local community in a landmark year for the company. Comxo have become part of an increasing number of businesses working with BCF with their Corporate Social Responsibility to address the growing needs that we see in our community. This much needed fund will help support projects in the immediate area of Datchet and the Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead where ComXO are based and we are looking forward to supporting as many as we can over the coming year.”
The ComXO Charity Fund will award grants to successful applicants once a year in February 2020. The fund will be used to support charities and voluntary organisations primarily working in Datchet and the surrounding area of Windsor & Maidenhead. Decisions regarding funding allocation will be made by a committee made up of ComXo employees.
