Business Philanthropy Club
The Business Philanthropy Club is the business philanthropy club for Berkshire; a vehicle for businesses to give effective and targeted funding to grassroots organisations and projects in their local communities.

Business Philanthropy Club members have come together to make a real, positive difference within Berkshire.  Members get the opportunity to not only support local charities but also to collaborate with other key business leaders to create tangible business opportunities.

  • It gives you the ability to direct all requests for charitable help to the Foundation thus freeing up your company’s admin resources and reducing costs.
  • It provides you the opportunity to attend key dinners with business leaders as well as ‘Seeing is Believing’ visits to meet the people you have helped.
Membership levels
Members of the Business Philanthropy Club will be asked to make an annual donation for a minimum of three years, of which 50% will be used to support projects through grants decided by the Business Philanthropy Club panel and administered by Berkshire Community Foundation; 25% will be invested, the income of which will be used to provide a sustainable source of support to charities and voluntary groups in Berkshire forever; and 25% will be used to facilitate Business Philanthropy Club activities.

There are 2 types of membership:

  • Full Membership – £1,500 per year (or £125 per month)
  • Platinum Membership – £5,000 per year and above
How to join
To start making a difference now, you can join with one of the following methods:

  • Send a cheque made payable to “Berkshire Community Foundation” to 100 Longwater Avenue, Green Park, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 6GP.  Please mark that your donation is for the Business Philanthropy Club.
