Childhood friends complete Three Peak Challenge raising £4500 for BCF thanks to Beaverbrooks The Jewellers
We asked grantees from the past two years for their feedback on their funding application experience and thoughts on funding in general, those that completed the survey were in with a chance of winning one of two £500 grants.
We are delighted to announce that the winners of the two £500 grants are:
The Autism Group who run two Special Interest Groups (SIGs) every Saturday with a range of themes, creating an environment where young people can develop social skills and friendships. The group want their SIGs to be as accessible as possible so we will be using this money to support families for whom the costs of travel or paying a contribution towards the cost of the session would be prohibitive.
The DASH Charity who support those within our community affected by Domestic Abuse by delivering a range of specialist services that will break the cycle of abuse enabling individuals and families to thrive.
We want to make sure we are doing the best job we can for our communities hard-working community groups. We hope this survey will enable us to improve our processes, to make access to potential funding as easy as possible, so a big THANK YOU from us for taking the time to help!
