The Mohawks Brotherhood, a biker club based in Berkshire, England, recently raised £1000 for local charity “Give A Child A Chance”, one of Berkshire Community Foundation’s fundraising initiatives.
“The Give A Child A Chance charity has been our choice of charity to support for the third time. As a biker brotherhood we know what it means to support those who mean the most to you, but we know there are those out there that don’t have the help that they need, so as a club we worked to raise money to give them that provision. We are a group built on solidarity and loyalty and believe it’s important to reflect that in our community. We would like to thank the Travellers’ Friend for their aiding and to all those that donated what they could to help us beat our expected target. We look forward to becoming regular fund raisers for this charity in the future.”
Tom Bourton, Mohawks Brotherhood club’s President
“We are once again delighted to have the support of the Mohawk Brotherhood for our vital ‘Give A Child A Chance’ that helps a number of disadvantaged young people in our local community and we are thrilled with the £1000 that has been raised. As one of our most oversubscribed funds, having the support from groups like the Mohawk Brotherhood fundraising in the local community means that we can fund even more charities who are providing a lifeline to their beneficiaries. Our huge thanks go to the Mohawk Brotherhood for their passionate and enthusiastic support and we look forward to continuing our relationship in the years ahead.”
