£125,000 Localgiving.com Christmas Match Fund

The race is on to raise more than a quarter-of-a-million pounds for local charities and community groups in Localgiving.com’s Christmas Match Fund Appeal.

From December 14 2011 until 6th January 2012, donations made through Localgiving.com, the national website dedicated to supporting local charities and community groups will be eligible to receive match funds from a national pot worth £125,000. This means Localgiving.com will match every pound donated to local groups registered on their site with an equal amount (subject to conditions and a per group limit see www.localgiving.com).  

Berkshire Community Foundation is responsible for ensuring the local groups who subscribe to Localgiving.com really do benefit Berkshire residents in many ways and this enables voluntary groups who aren’t registered charities to also double donations through match funding.

There are 138 Berkshire groups already registered with  Localgiving.com, all of which are eligible for Christmas  Match Funding.
