Red Bus in Reading promotes BCF

If you want to draw attention to yourself, then a big, red bus goes a long way to help out.  Park that bus in the centre of Reading on a busy shopping day, and everyone notices you!  That is what Berkshire Community Foundation (BCF) chose to do to help launch their ‘Think Local, Give Local’ campaign. Shoppers were able to meet some of the local community groups and charities which receive grants from Berkshire Community Foundation, and to learn more about how charitable giving in Berkshire can make a difference locally.

Berkshire residents are generous with their charitable donations, but it is estimated that between 75-90% of this benefits causes outside the county. Think Local Give Local and BCF provide the ideal opportunity to give effectively to local community projects in Berkshire. There are a number of ways to get involved and donate.
