This year’s event was held at the Green Park Conference Centre and sponsored by Green Park, Reading law firm Blandy and Blandy and Metro Bank.
Presentations covered a wealth of topics including a 20 year review of the sector, How to attract volunteers, Finance, a Legal update, Vital Signs report and the Vital for Berkshire campaign. There were also two official opportunities to network as well as a delicious lunch, thank you Blandy & Blandy! The day was hosted by BCF Vice President Lady Catherine Stevenson DL. Vital Signs 2018 report was released. Cheques for £1,000 were presented to Autism Berkshire, Interakt and Family Friends Windsor & Maidenhead as the three lucky recipients of the grant draw.
We’d like to thank everyone for their feedback over 75% felt that the Sypmosium would help working in collaboration with other organisations. Over 86% rated the event as “Excellent”.
