Nominations for The Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards 2026 are now open

Nominations are now open for the Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards 2026, celebrating the remarkable individuals, schools, businesses and organisations that make our community so special.

Established in 2005, the awards shine a light on those who go above and beyond in areas such as charity, sport, education and business. They continue to recognise the people and groups who make a real difference to life in Bracknell Forest — and encourage others to get involved in shaping a brighter future for the region.

Here are the categories open for nomination:

  • John Nike Young Person’s Award – for under-18s who have made a positive impact in the community.
  • John Nike Adult’s Award – for those aged 18+ who show dedication and selflessness.
  • School of the Year – recognising schools that provide an exceptional learning environment.
  • Teacher of the Year – celebrating teachers who inspire and go the extra mile for their pupils.
  • Business of the Year – for businesses that make a meaningful contribution to the local area.
  • Sport and Achievement Young Person’s Award – for under-18s excelling in sport or personal achievement.
  • Sport and Achievement Adult’s Award – for adults who bring pride to Bracknell Forest through sport.
  • Charity of the Year – recognising registered charities that carry out vital and inspirational work.
  • Longstanding Service to the Community Award – for individuals who’ve made a sustained and significant impact over time.
  • Team of the Year – celebrating groups who achieve extraordinary things through teamwork.
  • Young Person in Business Award – for young individuals showing entrepreneurial spirit and leadership.
