A grant of £16,000 was awarded to Alzheimer’s Dementia Support from the Mars in the Community Fund in 2015.
Alzheimer’s Dementia Support is a charity that offers a wide range of services to help people in the local community whose lives are directly or indirectly affected by dementia. It helps those affected to cope better whilst giving them the opportunity to experience a little joy and laughter in their difficult lives.
The grant enabled Alzheimer’s Dementia Support to add to the range of services they offer such as drop-in sessions, singing for pleasure and moving to music, benefiting over 100 people who regular use their services.
