Berkshire Community Foundation have been delighted to work with Reading based Huntswood, a specialist resourcing and consultancy firm in governance, risk and compliance, since 2018 as its nominated charity.

Huntswood support a number of causes, and by fundraising for BCF they are able to reach a greater range of local charities.

Our twice yearly quiz is now a permanent fixture and the teams are really competitive. Huntswood employees are also encouraged to use one of their working days per year to take part in charitable activities, such as volunteering to support local charity events or providing free support to the local community. BCF has organised a number of volunteering opportunities and team days for employees to provide vital support for local causes.

“Huntswood’s External Engagement team had a great (and productive) day cleaning up the grounds of the Woodley Scout Hut. On top of this being a great team-building exercise, you can clearly see the difference that was made for the children and local community that use the centre. The Huntswood team take great pride in actively campaigning and fundraising for great causes and have donated over £15,000 to BCF in the last year. The company became members of BCF’s Business Philanthropy Club, joining other like-minded businesses who give effectively and help those in need locally. BCF are extremely grateful for Huntswood Team’s support, which enables us to support hundreds of causes across the county and continue to change lives.
