Home – Start aims to support local families with Apna Virsa is a community organisation that celebrates traditional and contemporary Asian culture across different communities within Slough, to help community cohesion, tolerance and integration.
Using Localgiving.com, Apna Virsa raised £7,559.55 in 2013/14. This helped over 500 people to enjoy cultural learning and activities, improving knowledge about their heritage as well as bringing together different communities.
